Our Optimist Clubs in South Carolina work hard for the children in their communities and we like to reward those efforts. Take a look at some of the special projects hosted across the South Carolina Optimist District.
Rolling in Rock Hill with the Rock Hill Central City Optimist Club
The youth of Rock Hill join in with the Rock Hill Central City Optimist Club to paint and revitalize the homes of elderly residents who cannot do it themselves.
The Childhood Cancer Optimist Club hosts Monthly Bingo with Kids Battling Cancer
Kids from across North and South Carolina gather each month to try their hand at Bingo. The Club awards prizes for the game winners as well as prizes for the best Zoom dancer and best theme costume.
Palmetto Optimist Battle Buddies Children's Obstacle Course
Hundreds of children gather each year for a physical challenge in this club created obstacle course. The youth are assisted y local law enforcement volunteering to shepherd the kids through the course as they do in real life.

Several of our JOI leaders met to discuss programs and fundraising initiatives. Our youth are excited about providing meaningful programs for other youth in their local communities and throughout the district.
